Saturday night was another big home win, which included some big time moments for one of Geelong United's young stars.
Elissa Brett was a standout in the club's second ever win over Adelaide.
With a solid outing on the defensive end, jamming up Adelaide's offensive structures with 3 steals and 4 defensive rebounds, Elissa paired that with Geelong's second highest points tally of the night, racking up 14 including 4 triples - One to tie the game with just under 3 minutes left in the final term.
"Elissa's been great," said Head Coach, Chris Lucas after the game. "Her impact on the game, that's why she stayed in the game - If you're performing, you'll stay in the game, and she's been performing at practice and at the games consistently. She's tough as."
