Geelong United Basketball has confirmed Infastech Engineered Fastening will continue as naming rights partner of the Geelong Venom for a third consecutive season, extending the partnership through 2026/27.
Infastech has backed the Venom since the club's inception, and the renewed agreement cements one of the region's most enduring sport-business partnerships heading into the new WNBL campaign.
Geelong United Basketball CEO Mark Neeld said the club was proud to continue the relationship with
Infastech.
"Infastech has been with us from day one, and their ongoing support has been instrumental in the growth of the Venom program," Neeld said.
"To have a partner re-commit for a third straight season speaks volumes about the strength of this
relationship and the shared belief in what we're building here in Geelong. It's a strong statement of
investment in women's sport, and particularly meaningful coming from an industry that has traditionally been male-dominated. We're incredibly grateful for their continued investment in our club and our community."
Infastech director Glenn Heffernan said the company was proud to reaffirm its commitment to the Venom and the broader Geelong community.
"Backing the Venom has never just been about putting our name on a jersey — it's about being part of
something that matters to this community," Heffernan said.
"We've watched this club grow season on season, and we're proud to keep standing alongside them as they continue building something special for Geelong. The Venom will run out under the Infastech banner again in 2026/27, with memberships now on sale for fans wanting to lock in their seat for the season.
The Venom's first home game of the season is Saturday 24 October against the Southside Melbourne Flyers at Geelong Arena.
